MTBSA editorial policy

Our reporting

MTBSA publishes mountain biking news, reviews, guides and licensed editorial contributions for South African readers. Articles may draw on overseas reporting or manufacturer information; this does not imply that MTBSA conducted the original test in South Africa.

Reviews and evidence

Hands-on testing, first looks and specifications-based guides should be clearly distinguished. Scores appear only where supplied. We do not invent local availability, prices, riding experiences or testing results.

Advertising and samples

Advertising and sponsored coverage should be identified. A review request does not guarantee publication or a positive opinion. Sample arrangements and any commercial relationship should be disclosed in the relevant coverage.

Corrections and contributions

Send corrections, interview proposals or first-hand riding stories to andrewrudling@gmail.com. Include the article URL and supporting information. Contributors must have permission to supply their text and photographs.
